AEW Rampage advertised appearances from Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson, an AEW World Tag Team Championship match with The Lucha Bros defending against The Butcher and The Blade, Anna Jay vs. The Bunny and Miro vs. Fuego Del Sol in a “Title vs. Car Match” (assuming AEW doesn’t break a stip again during this feud).
Last week’s broadcast of AEW Rampage drew its lowest viewership to date with 670,000 viewers.

The Lucha Bros def. The Butcher and The Blade
AEW is obsessed with removing Lucha masks and face paint.
Nobody seemed to believe The Butcher and The Blade had a chance in this match and neither do I.
Anna Jay vs. The Bunny
Anna Jay was selling her non-taped shoulder throughout this match and it was very jarring.
This match degenerated in to an all-women’s brawl that this crowd was quiet for until Penelope Ford broke out the brass knuckles.
Matt Hardy attacked a fan dressed like Orange Cassidy and cut his hair, which tells me Cassidy has to be going over in their Hair vs. Hair match.
Britt Baker D.M.D. and Ruby Soho Face Off
Britt Baker hugged Tony Schiavone and I felt so nervous for him because Adam Cole was probably watching.
Ruby Soho fired off the latest subtweet to WWE by saying she didn’t have the freedom to express who she was.
Both these women were so over to this crowd.
Ruby Soho violated Britt Baker with a line about “banging some dude in the back.” Britt Baker clapped back by reminding Ruby “you got fired.” This promo might be better than their match.
This was the only segment that made this feel like an A-Show.
Miro def. Fuego del Sol—TNT Championship vs. Car
I’m so used to hispanic wrestlers wearing lucha masks, I’m always thrown off when I hear Fuego del Sol speak in an American accent.
This feud reminds me of the 1-2-3 Kid vs. Razor Ramon, and I’m hoping Fuego del Sol eventually steals his car back from Rusev the way the 1-2-3 Kid stole the $10,000 from Razor Ramon.
