Visiting Niigata Albirex BB (2-1) defeated San-En Neophoenix (1-2), 77-64 to grab their second win in the 2021-22 Japan B.League season on Saturday, October 9 at the Shiga Prefectural Gymnasium.

Kobe Paras with a huge game for Albirex with 21 points (8/16 FG, 4/10 3PT, 1/1 FT) along with 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in 32 minutes of play while Thirdy Ravena paced Neophoenix with 16 points (4/11 FG, 2/3 3PT, 6/7 FT), 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 rebounds in 27 minutes of play.

“I’m just happy that I got to play against Thirdy. The last time we played was in college and I really thought that was the last time we were gonna play against each other. I’m just really happy that even here as pros, we got to play against each other and I’m grateful for my teammates. We have a great coaching staff so without them, I wouldn’t be able to play my game” said Paras after the game.
