Now, according to a new report by the MakingStarWars.net, Inquisitor Reva, aka The Third Sister, won’t just be a reckless villain. The site claims that the series will show that there is some humanity behind her anger, which should be explored in the final stretch of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
According to insider Jason Ward, the story will bring Reva’s tragic past, revealing how she was taken from her family, innocent and confused, and then turned into a warrior of a corrupt Jedi strand. She is nearly killed in Order 66 and is then forced to choose between becoming an assassin in the service of Darth Vader or dying.
The Inquisitors are a specific unit of Imperial soldiers who work directly under the command of Darth Vader. They are all Force sensitive and most use a lightsaber to defend and attack. Originally, an Inquisitor is a former Jedi who defected from the Resistance and chose to join the Empire. The timeline formed after Revenge of the Sith it can be described as the moment when the Inquisitors really stand out, gaining fame and becoming the most feared.
The story of the new series Obi-Wan Kenobi begins ten years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sithas Kenobi faced his worst defeat: the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who became the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The series Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives exclusively on Disney+ on May 27.
