The Princess: Joey King movie gets streaming premiere date

The Princessstarring Joey King (Kiss tend, The Act), will be distributed in Brazil by Star+. The film, which was directed by 20th Century, was given a release date, as well as a screening plan and official synopsis. The production is expected to be available in July on Hulu (USA), Star+ (Latin America) and Disney+ in other regions.

The film’s plot tells the story of a beautiful and headstrong princess who refuses to marry the cruel sociopath to whom she is betrothed. Therefore, she is kidnapped and locked away in a remote tower of her father’s castle. Now, scorned and vengeful, her suitor wants to take the king’s throne, and the princess must protect her family and save the kingdom.

The role, a far cry from King’s work in the trilogy Kiss tend, shows his ability to play a wide variety of characters. Along with the actress, the film also stars Dominic Cooper, Olga Kurylenko and Veronica Ngo.

The adventure is directed by Le-Van Kiet, a Vietnamese film director known for his work on furya 2019 Vietnam action film. The screenplay is written by Ben Lustig of The Thirstand Jake Thornton, who is on the team adapting the game Final Fantasy for a TV series.

Franchise action veteran Neal H. Moritz Fast and furious, produces. Other producers include Toby Jaffe, who previously worked on The future Avengerand Derek Kolstad, from John Wick. King serves as executive producer alongside Guy Riedel.

The Princess is slated to debut on Star+ on July 1.
